TreeHouse Foods in Hanover, PA is seeking a Quality Technician II for Crew C (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) to ensure quality and safety from raw materials to finished goods. The role requires routine testing, inspections, and data entry in quality systems.

Responsibilities include sampling, GMP/SQF compliance, equipment calibration, sanitation checks, and supporting plant-wide projects. This is a full-time position with a rotating 7 AM–7 PM schedule.

Qualifications

• High School, technical school education or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills to input data.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to perform lab tests rapidly and accurately.
• Attention to detail and documentation.
• Ability to visually inspect product for flaws.

Responsibilities

• The Quality Technician II is responsible for ensuring product quality and safety by performing routine testing, inspections, and equipment checks on raw materials, in-process, and finished products.
• Supports compliance with GMPs, SQF standards, and internal quality procedures.
• Prepare and pull samples for internal and external testing.
• Perform product testing (raw materials, packaging, in-process, and finished goods).
• Conduct inline magnet checks, sanitation effectiveness swabs, and ATP swabs.
• Inspect incoming bulk raw materials.
• Accurately enter data into quality systems.
• Identify and report out-of-spec results to Quality Technician III.
• Calibrate lab equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and perform routine housekeeping tasks.
• Dispose of 50 lb. food waste tubs regularly during production.
• Support plant-wide clean-up and assist with special projects as needed.
• Follow and enforce SQF, GMP, and food safety standards.

Important Details

This is a full-time permanent role on Crew C working from 7:00a to 7:00p rotating shift:

• Week 1: Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday from 7am to 7pm
• Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday from 7am to 7pm
