Job summary

Micro Matic USA seeks a Quality Technician to drive the quality processes of Incoming Receiving Inspection, RMA, DMR, and IQAF, and to support calibration and MRB maintenance on the production floor. You will create DMRs, issue CAPAs, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely disposition.

You will perform gage calibrations, maintain QC tools, and assist with training videos for production employees. Travel between Micro Matic locations may be required; strong attention to detail and ISO 9000

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, or related field.
Solid knowledge of quality processes and measurement system analysis.
Strong documentation and attention to detail.
Understanding of ISO 9000, 5S, and TQM is preferred.
Experience with lean manufacturing principles (Six Sigma).

Responsibilities

Perform Incoming Inspection and document Quality Reports from vendor.
Create DMRs for nonconforming conditions and coordinate with suppliers and internal teams.
Generate production rework orders per DMR disposition and for customer returns.
Maintain AX quarantine locations and compile related reports.
Perform gage calibrations and manage calibrated gage inventory with Gagetrak.
Support QC tools and calibration; assist in training production employees.
Assist with evaluation/disposition of products in QA hold area and returns testing.
Establish and maintain Golden Samples for production.
