Job summary

MCC, 7400 Industrial Row Dr, Mason, Ohio, is seeking a Quality Technician to perform on-line quality audits, raw material testing, and non-conformance handling to support Manufacturing, Technical, Quality, Sales, Purchasing, and R&D.

The role requires 2–4 years of experience or related education, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and the ability to use measurement tools. Safety, calibration, and documentation are essential aspects of daily work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two to Four years’ experience or related education.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Vision capabilities including color, close vision, distance, and ability to focus.
• Physical ability to stand/walk, regular use of hands, and to lift up to 30lbs.
• Occasionally climb/balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits per applicable sampling plans, positive release, and in process audits.
• Active involvement in data integrity, testing methodology, standardized practice systems, and non-conforming material containment process.
• Assist in process capability testing and routine inspection and testing of product/equipment.
• Effective system-based communication with other Quality Department team members and Operations.
• Shared ownership of equipment calibration process for Quality Tools critical to product testing.
• Perform aged testing for all departments and project testing for technical.
• Create and manage color standards.
• Aid in the management of Process Control Plans and Product Spec Sheets.
• Follow all plant and department specific safety rules, including PPE.
