Job summary

Kasai North America, Inc. in Manchester, TN is seeking a Quality Associate to monitor production processes for conformance and to perform receiving inspections. You will verify color, material disposition, and product quality while maintaining safety and housekeeping standards.

The role requires 1+ year in quality, the ability to read blueprints, and basic computer skills, with occasional travel and a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

At least 1 year experience in the quality field.
Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics.
Computer literate and professional in a business environment.
Must pass Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue test yearly.
Ability to travel for extended periods with limited notice.

Responsibilities

Interact with internal customers and meet quality goals.
Generate reports and verify documentation.
Monitor and enforce ISO/TS16949 and ISO 14000 policies.
Support the implementation and maintenance of Quality and Environmental Policies.
Perform first-off inspection for setup approval and changes.
Gauge parts per inspection instructions and record results.
Identify materials for proper disposition (OK to use, Hold, Rejected).
Audit compliance to policies to assure product conformance.
Perform inspections on supplied materials.
Coordinate disposition of rejected materials and issue RO.
Generate paperwork for disposition (scrap tickets, shipping docs).
Sort and/or rework rejected parts as required.
Enter data from received materials for inventory purposes.
Enter data from inspections performed by QA production auditing.
