Job summary

Avtron Power Solutions, LLC seeks a Quality Technician for 2nd shift to support manufacturing operations by performing in-process and final inspections of load bank assemblies. You will verify conformance to drawings, BOMs, and specs, and assist with NCRs and MRB activities on the production floor.

This non-exempt role requires a technical associate degree and at least 3 years in manufacturing quality roles, with experience in mechanical and electrical assemblies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in manufacturing, quality, inspection, assembly, or test support.
• Experience working in a production environment with mechanical and electrical assemblies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process inspections of mechanical, electrical, and integrated load bank assemblies.
• Verify assemblies are built in accordance with engineering drawings, bills of material, work instructions, and applicable specifications.
• Conduct first article, receiving, in-process, and final inspections as required.
• Support manufacturing personnel by answering quality-related questions and clarifying inspection requirements.
• Monitor production activities and identify opportunities to improve product quality and process effectiveness.
• Conduct in-process assembly audits and Torque verification audits.
• Conduct wiring workmanship inspections to IPC/industry standards.
• Continuous presence in Assembly and Test as a 'Quality at the Source' resource
