Ensuring Chart’s Success…

Inspects the quality and performance of Company products from receipt of raw materials and component parts, through fabrication, to final testing and customer acceptance, adhering to company, customer, and industry standards.

What Will You Do?

• Predictably and regularly attend work and be punctual
• Read and understand documents and drawings
• Interact politely and professionally with customers and coworkers
• Perform multiple tasks concurrently
• Follow directions or instructions
• Use a computer to communicate, create, and access information
• Inspect the entire fabrication process for compliance with specifications and standards
• Coordinate outside customer inspections and communicate holding points
• Ensure hold points on inspection checklists are met and products are properly identified
• Prepare Nonconformity Reports for production issues
• Communicate engineering issues to the Engineering Department and relay solutions to production
• Monitor activities like welding and liquid penetrant testing
• Review test results and reports to ensure quality standards
• Inspect materials for damage, proper sizing, heat numbers, and test reports
• Perform internal and external audits for quality compliance
• Maintain product traceability throughout the fabrication process
• This is a night shift position

Your Physical Work Environment Will Require…

• Physical requirements include exerting up to 50 pounds occasionally, 30 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly
• Visual acuity for detailed inspection and reading
• Environmental conditions such as heat, noise, and hazards like moving parts, electrical currents, and chemicals

Your Experience Should Be...

• 3-5 years relevant experience
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Interpersonal skills for effective communication
• Ability to respond to inquiries and present information effectively
• Dependability and customer service orientation
• Ability to interpret technical and regulatory documents
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Experience with Weld Inspection in ASME (CWI preferred)
• Minimum Level II experience in Liquid Penetrant, Visual, and Ultrasonic Testing
