Menk USA is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control professional to join our Sterling, IL manufacturing team. You will conduct audits, approve or reject in-process and finished goods, and communicate adjustments to leadership.
This role requires reading job travelers and blueprints, performing measurements with metric and standard tools, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. ISO 9001:2015 compliance and a 10-hour shift capability are essential.

Conduct a quality audit of every unit during and after the manufacturing processes to ensure products comply with quality standards.
Approve or reject in-process and finished goods by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests.
Communicate required adjustments and/or rework to Production and Quality leadership.
Red flag/tag all non-conforming products.
Green Tag all good quality/conforming units for shipment.
Perform measurements using metric or standard tape measures.
Read and interpret Job Traveler instructions.
Read simple blueprints.
Keep work area clean from all debris to ensure a safe, hazard-free working environment.
Perform work in accordance with the requirements of Menk-USA LLC ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.
Perform other duties required.
Required:
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 1–2 years' experience working in a Quality Control position.
Some computer experience, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to adhere to timelines.
Ability to read simple blueprints and Job Traveler instructions.
Ability to perform measurements using metric and standard measuring tools.
Must be able to work productively for a 10-hour shift if necessary.
Must pass a background check and drug test.
Capable of physical requirements throughout extended periods of time, including standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, squatting, and climbing ladders.
Must maintain a clean, safe, and hazard-free work area.
Must follow all safety and quality requirements.
Must complete required training and meet competency requirements established by the Company's training matrix.
