Job summary

Hire Up Staffing Services seeks a detail-oriented Quality Technician for the 2nd shift to help ensure product quality and production standards on the floor. You will perform routine inspections, conduct tests, and log results to support quality objectives.

Daily tasks include documenting non-conforming materials, coordinating rework, and assisting with packaging, labeling, and inventory transactions. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
• Basic math and computer/data entry skills.
• Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine visual inspections of in-process and finished products.
• Conduct product testing at scheduled intervals and record results.
• Audit production processes for adherence to work instructions and tools.
• Complete final inspections and assist with packaging and inventory transactions.
• Identify and contain non-conforming materials and coordinate rework or disposal.
• Communicate quality concerns to leadership and support corrective actions.
• Assist with production support tasks including line coverage and job changeovers.
• Monitor work order progress and maintain accurate production records.
