Job summary

Tate Americas is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure products meet all quality standards through pre- and post-production testing. You will inspect, test, and calibrate equipment, perform incoming inspections, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, be able to lift 50 lbs, and be comfortable with a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining strong communication and meticulous documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop or crouch for an 8-hour shift.
• Must be computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to use test equipment and verify calibration.

Responsibilities

• Tests products before, in process, and final to ensure quality.
• Maintains and calibrates test equipment.
• Performs incoming inspections on vendor products.
• Conducts daily in-process quality audits on production floor.
• Supports continuous improvement of processes to improve quality and reduce defects.
• Visits job sites to identify problems and recommend solutions.
