Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker is seeking a Quality Tech for 1st shift (6:30am–3:00pm) with starting pay at $20.28/hour. The role focuses on inspecting incoming materials, in-process components and finished goods to ensure compliance with customer specs and quality standards.

You will collaborate with production and QA teams to resolve defects, perform routine audits, and support corrective actions. A high school diploma and strong teamwork are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and follow standards and procedures.
• Team player with good verbal communication.
• Ability to work in a production environment and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect parts, processes and products to ensure quality per standards.
• Communicate non-conformities and assist in corrective actions.
• Use fixed gauges, micrometers and other inspection tools to verify specs.
• Assist in audits and process capability reviews under supervision.
