Job summary

Altium Packaging is seeking a Quality Technician in Tukwila, WA to audit, test, and measure finished goods, ensuring adherence to customer standards and GMP. The role supports a four-day, 40-hour work week, on the 1st shift (Mon-Thu).

You will apply stats to monitor performance, perform lab testing, and drive improvements while ensuring safety and quality compliance in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• The technician position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
• One year of related experience.
• ASQ certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws.
• Apply statistical tools to monitor plant performance and finished goods.
• Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.
• Seek process improvements and make recommendations to management.
• Audit compliance with GMP policies.
• Perform process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Audit for compliance to control plan requirements including process parameters.
• Perform incoming inspection of raw materials.
• Complete dimensional checks and report on product.
• Perform in-process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
• Perform cycle counts and/or inventory of finished goods as required.
• Communicate quality issues to appropriate personnel and shift leaders.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Overtime may be required due to business needs.
