Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Quality Technician to perform advanced dimensional and visual inspections across manufacturing processes. You will operate inspection equipment such as CMMs and vision systems, document results, and support GMP and ISO quality programs.

Responsibilities include training others on inspection tools, interpreting SPC results, and ensuring accurate ERP updates. The role requires a High School diploma and 3+ years in quality assurance within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of inspection equipment use and maintenance.
• Intermediate GD&T proficiency.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and standard work.
• Experience with GMP/ISO 9001/13485 is preferred.

Position Summary

The Quality Technician will be responsible for performing advanced dimensional and visual inspections for various manufacturing processes. This role will also perform inspections using various methods and equipment, complete appropriate quality records within company and GMP guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Shifts Available

• 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm Mon-Fri
• Perform inspections in support of first article, gage R&R, and process capability studies
• Audit and train employees in the proper use of inspection equipment and documentation
• Interpret SPC results
• Manually operate and program various precision testing equipment including but not limited to tool scope, CMM, and vision systems
• Effective organizational, oral, and written communication skills to facilitate an effective working relationship with customers, suppliers, and coworkers
• Recommend changes to quality documentation
• Perform key responsibilities of a Quality Inspector
• Read and comply with work instructions, set up sheets, and checklists
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
• Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis
• Accurately record and report hours worked
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
• Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work
• Partner with other business segments sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
• Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly

Pay Range

USD $23.08 - USD $36.49 /Hr.

Pay Range Details

• Quality Technician I $23.08 - $33.46
• Quality Technician II $25.16 - $36.49
