Job summary

Cretex Medical is seeking a Quality Technician I in Minnesota to perform advanced dimensional and visual inspections across multiple manufacturing processes. You will operate and program precision testing equipment such as CMMs and vision systems, document results in the ERP, and ensure compliance with ISO and GMP guidelines.

Shift available: 1st shift 6:00am-2:30pm, Mon-Fri. Responsibilities include supporting first article inspections, training staff on inspection equipment, interpreting SPC

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in quality assurance.
• Experience using inspection equipment and maintenance.
• Intermediate GD&T knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections in support of first article, gage R&R, and process capability studies
• Audit and train employees in the proper use of inspection equipment and documentation
• Interpret SPC results
• Manually operate and program various precision testing equipment including but not limited to tool scope, CMM, and vision systems
• Effective organizational, oral, and written communication skills to facilitate an effective working relationship with customers, suppliers, and coworkers
• Recommend changes to quality documentation
• Perform key responsibilities of a Quality Inspector
• Enter production information into the ERP system on a timely basis
• Accurately record and report hours worked
• Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements
• Partner with other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance
• Understand customer needs and the core business markets we serve
• Ensure business systems are implemented, maintained, and functioning properly

Position summary:

The Quality Technician I will be responsible for performing advanced dimensional and visual inspections for various manufacturing processes. This role will also perform inspections using various methods and equipment, complete appropriate quality records within company and GMP guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Dexterity and hand and eye coordination
• Ability to use a microscope and hand tools
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/13485
• Quality certifications

Pay Range

USD $23.08 - USD $36.49 /Hr.

Pay Range Details

This pay range reflects the base hourly rate or annual salary for positions within this job grade, based on our market-based pay structures. Actual compensation will depend on factors such as skills, relevant experience, education, internal equity, business needs, and local market conditions. While the full hiring range is shared for transparency, offers are rarely made at the minimum or maximum of the range.
