Working Conditions
Must be comfortable with changing temperatures within a warehouse environment.
$17.50 base hourly rate
12hr shifts available 6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am (4-3 rotation)

Position Summary
Performs quality inspections and audits in accordance with quality assurance program guidelines to prevent or eliminate defects in new or existing products.
Duties and Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Collects, and maintains, quality-related data to identify trends and conditions that may negatively impact the quality of the product.
- Completes hourly inspections of product being produced on the line
- Performs inspection of incoming material and works with personnel to identify; isolate and trouble shoot quality related concerns.
- Performs thorough inspection of all material prior to machine start up and between changeovers.
- Assists the production lines as the Quality Assurance resource for all issues pertaining to the quality of the product.
- Reports quality issues to management.
- Maintains all quality records and documentation.
- Reports on, documents and reviews product and material in quality assurance hold area.
- Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
Marginal Functions
- Makes recommendations to stop production based on quality or maintenance issues.
- Continually checks product and process to ensure all specified requirements are met.
- Assists in production line set up and during changeovers as needed.
- Provides feedback to other line workers regarding Quality issues.
- Strives for continuous improvements in production process.
Job Specifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior quality experience in a fast-paced production environment, preferred but not required
- Willingness to train in FSC220000, Six Sigma and/or Lean manufacturing.
- Ability to work under pressure and follow specific instructions thoroughly and accurately.
- Ability to understand and follow company policies and procedures.
- Good understanding of ruler, calipers and thickness gauge.
