Staffmark is hiring a Quality Technician in West Columbia, SC. You will run machines, assemble parts, or pack goods that ship around the world in a hands-on role with room to grow.

Responsibilities include inspecting electrical components, wiring, soldering, cable assembly, and following safety and quality procedures in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Technical training in electrical systems, electronics, or industrial technology is a plus.
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions, schematics, blueprints, and drawings.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Meet production goals while ensuring quality standards are achieved.

Location: West Columbia, SC
Pay Rate: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
Schedule:

  • 1st Shift | Monday – Friday | 7 AM – 3:30 PM
  • 2nd Shift | Monday – Frday | 3:3 PM – 12 AM
  • Saturday as needed

Education Requirements

Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30-40 pounds as needed.
  • Manual dexterity to handle small parts, wiring, and electronic components.
  • Good vision, with or without corrective lenses, for detailed inspection and assembly work.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

What You Will Do

As a Quality Technician you will support daily manufacturing operations by assembling products, operating production equipment, inspecting finished goods, packaging materials, maintaining production standards, and following established work instructions. You will help keep production areas clean and organized, monitor product quality, meet production goals, and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing operations.

A Quality Technician contributes to manufacturing by performing a variety of production responsibilities that support efficient operations and quality products. This position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and the ability to work safely throughout every shift.

The Quality Technician supports manufacturing through product assembly, inspection, packaging, material handling, and adherence to production procedures while maintaining quality and workplace safety.
