Job summary

Actus Nutrition in Visalia, CA is seeking a Quality Technician (Nights) to join our team. You will conduct and report laboratory, environmental, and product testing, prepare samples for third-party tests, and ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and MSDS requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a laboratory in a food-grade manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory testing procedures and applicable software.
• Exceptional analytical and organizational abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct, interpret, and report laboratory, environmental, and product testing results accurately, including OOS notifications as needed.
• Prepare samples for third-party testing, maintain lab equipment, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with lab supply vendors.
• Follow and support plant/laboratory GMPs, HACCP procedures, MSDS requirements, and other quality and safety documentation.
• Assist with inventory control, clerical data entry, filing, and computer-based recordkeeping.
• Respond to technical product questions and communicate results or concerns to plant and corporate management.
• Interpret written and verbal instructions, solve practical problems, and perform effectively in high-pressure situations.

We are currently seeking a Quality Technician (Nights) to join the Visalia, CA team.

Pay: From $25 - $28

Shift: 6:00pm - 6:30am Rotating with every other weekend off.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
