Job Description

The quality technician is responsible for testing ingredients to ensure they are in spec and safe to consume. The primary duties of the technician will include laboratory testing, swabbing, and quality documentation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory tests such as water activity, protein swabs, pH, and viscosity.
• Perform environmental swabbing to test for allergens, molds, and other environmental hazards.
• Ensure that sanitation, batch records, and product release records are properly filled out and filed.
  
  

Essential Skills

• REQUIRED: Bachelor in Science or related degree. Preferred: Experience working within a GMP environment.
  
  

Work Environment

The work environment involves spending half of the shift in the lab testing products and the other half retrieving samples and performing line checks. .

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
