The hourly rate for this position is23.37per hour.

• Active involvement in the plant and supporting/backing up material teammates during vacations/leaves.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic) Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED


• Candidate must be able to legally work without company sponsorship


• Candidate must be located within 50 miles of the South Bend, IN facility

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to frequently move and/or lift parts weighing from 3-29lbs.


• Ability to stand, walk, and/or sit throughout shift.


• One year experience in a manufacturing environment, prior forging experience preferred.


• Ability to read machine shop blueprints and work instructions using basic math


• Ability to use precision instruments and gauging such as calipers, dial indicators, micrometers, etc.


• Experience with CMM


• Strong interpersonal skills required in the position


• Willingness to continue education and quality related competencies


• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets and databases. (Microsoft Office).


• Ability to work with little supervision
