Job summary

ABB in Senatobia, MS is seeking a Quality Control role focused on implementing and maintaining a quality system within the Smart Power unit. This onsite position supports daily QA activities, audits, and KPI reporting to drive local process improvements.

You will train local teams, report metrics, and help ensure accurate data reflects material and product quality, while adhering to quality management standards and documentation practices.

Qualifications

• 0–6 months of experience in a manufacturing warehouse.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• English/Spanish communication is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including audits, controls, training and process documentation.
• Report quality KPIs and customer cases to support data-driven decisions.
• Maintain documentation of quality processes and ensure adherence to the quality management system.
• Support local operational teams with quality-related initiatives and opportunities for improvement.

This position reports to:

Quality Control Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist the Quality team in implementing and maintaining a quality system, including conducting audits, establishing controls, training on tools and methodologies. Each day, you will support activities related to quality management within the organizational unit. You will also showcase your expertise by reporting quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and customer cases and maintaining process documentation.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

This role is contributing to the Smart Power Business Unit in Senatobia, MS.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Reporting quality issues data, ensuring adherence to quality management system at all stages.
• Acquiring and reporting quality metrics and KPIs accurately and in a timely manner to facilitate the analysis and management of local processes.
• Utilizing measurement systems to produce data that reflect the accurate characteristics of materials, products, systems, and processes.
• Training local operational teams on relevant elements of quality management, supporting implementation, and promoting opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have 0-6 Months of experience in a Manufacturing Warehouse environment
• High School Diploma/Certificate Required
• You are at ease communicating in English/Spanish
