Responsibilities
- Understanding of quality concepts in a manufacturing environment
- Hands‑on experience with inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, and similar equipment
- Inspect, reject, or accept product according to visual standard, weight, tally, and other Q.C. requirements
- Documentation and record‑keeping
- Control the removal of monogram from non‑conforming product
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Comply with all NOV Company policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all HSE policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Comply with all Quality policies, guidelines, and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Education & Experience Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three years of verifiable work experience, preferred in a manufacturing environment
Job Requirements
- Flexibility to work a 2‑week rotating schedule 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
- Factory environment with large temperature changes
- Standing, walking, and bending/stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Push/pull up to 12 hours daily
- Travel less than 10%
- MDA testing clearance

- Ability to accurately use scales, OD tape, ruler, thread height gauge

- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair and assembly operations
