Job summary

Van-Am Tool & Engineering is seeking a Quality Technician to ensure products meet internal quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements. You will inspect materials and components at multiple stages, including receiving, welding, machining, and assembly.

The role supports production through in-process and final inspections, documentation, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree preferred.
• 3-5 years in a metal manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, indicators, and go/no-go gauges.
• Ability to read 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Working knowledge of GD&T.
• Familiarity with 8D, SPC, and 5 Whys.
• Strong math and communication skills.

Responsibilities
