  • Must be able to perform physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Perform testing of incoming and in-process materials to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Provide specialized technical support to engineers and operations for evaluating final product characteristics.
  • Verify process set-ups and changeovers, and assist in troubleshooting production issues.
  • Analyze test data by comparing results to specifications, and promptly alert key personnel to any negative trends or nonconformances.
  • Fill in for absences, vacations, or other coverage needs on alternate shifts, often on short notice.
  • Focus on meeting customer quality expectations, with metrics such as cost of poor quality, customer incidents, PPM defects, and internal scrap.

The Quality Technician is responsible for verifying process set-ups and providing specialized technical support to engineers and production teams to ensure final product quality. This role includes testing processed materials against quality specifications, assisting in troubleshooting production issues, and alerting key personnel to negative quality trends. The technician may be required to fill in on other shifts with short notice due to absences or vacations.

About You
