Job summary

Laborie seeks a Quality Technician to join our Quality team. This role focuses on planning and conducting QA activities to assure processes, materials, and products meet required standards and support Quality Systems.

You will perform inspections at various stages, document data, support system maintenance, investigate nonconformances, manage quarantines, coordinate calibrations, and help analyze quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in a related position with a High School diploma
  • Excellent organizational skills and attentive to detail
  • Strong knowledge of basic mathematical operations is desirable
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer skills and a working knowledge of computer software (MS Outlook, MS Word, and Excel)
  • Exposure to ISO and FDA regulations desirable
  • Demonstrated success working independently and in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality inspections, including testing, record review, first article inspections, and release of raw materials, sub-assemblies, and finished products.
  • Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities, consistent with company policies and procedures.
  • Support quality system activities by maintaining procedures, specifications, documentation, databases, ERP transactions, and certificates of conformance/analysis.
  • Investigate and document nonconformances, complaints, and quality discrepancies, partnering with production teams to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
  • Manage quarantine processes, including labeling, segregation, inventory transactions, and disposition of nonconforming materials.
  • Coordinate calibration and monitoring programs by scheduling equipment calibrations, maintaining records, and performing environmental, temperature, and humidity monitoring activities.
  • Compile and analyze quality metrics, support reporting, maintain quality equipment and fixtures, and coordinate product sample submissions to external laboratories for testing and evaluation.

Who We’re Looking For:
