Job summary

Race Winning Brands in Warren, MI is hiring a Quality Technician to partner with manufacturing teams ensuring piston and engine components meet our quality standards. You’ll drive corrective actions, maintain documents, and support PPAPs, control plans and data analysis, while upholding safety and continuous improvement across the facility.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in manufacturing, strong English communication, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and SPC software; associate

• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and SPC software.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.
• Eligibility to work in the US without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Put safety first and never pass on a defect.
• Work with pit crew mindset to improve processes.
• Investigate quality issues related to fit, tolerances and materials; start corrective actions.
• Support customer requirements for PPAPs, control plans, A3s and data analysis.
• Manage the controlled document system including SOPs, work instructions and forms.
• Participate in critical and component inspections with manufacturing.
• Audit and track operator inspection compliance and report results to leads.
• Run scrap reports, update charts and report quality metrics.
• Take ownership of work and seek improvements.
• Maintain a safe, organized and respectful workplace.

Requirements

As a Quality Technician at Dart in Warren, MI, you’ll help make sure the pistons and engine components we build meet the standards our customers count on. You’ll work closely with manufacturing, line leads and operators to find and fix quality issues, keep our documents and procedures current and track how we’re performing. Your work helps us build parts that racers and performance builders can trust.

What you’ll do:

What you bring:

• At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and SPC software.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.

Nice to have: Associate degree; knowledge of Lean and World Class Manufacturing practices; ASQ certifications such as CQE, COA or CQT; knowledge of ISO 9001.
