Atkore is seeking a Quality Technician in Hobart, IN to inspect parts and tooling, interpret drawings, and document quality history. The role reports to the Quality Manager and requires an AS degree with 3–5 years in manufacturing, plus experience with calipers, micrometers, gauges, and SPC.
The position is off-shift, nights with rotating weekends, and involves training new production staff in gauging techniques and quality processes.

We are currently searching for a Quality Technician to be based out of Hobart, IN. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this person will be responsible for performing product inspections using various types of measurement equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges. This person will be responsible for preparing reports to document their findings. This position is for an off shift that will work nights and rotating weekends.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an associate degree in Applied Science with 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay for this position is $49,200 - $67,650. Placement in the range depends on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, relevant experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and business or organizational needs and may change over time. Other compensation may include, but not limited to, overtime, shift differentials, bonuses, commissions, stock, and other incentives.
