Quality Technician

Bradford, PA | Full-Time | 2nd Shift (4 Day Workweek-Enjoy a 3 Day Weekend) | Precision-Focused Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our team in Lewis Run, PA. In this hands-on manufacturing-based role, you’ll ensure that every product coming into & leaving our facility meets rigorous standards for quality, compliance, and craftsmanship.

What Will You Do?

As a Quality Technician, you’ll be responsible for monitoring and verifying product quality throughout the production cycle. Key duties include:

Performing in-process and final product inspections to ensure compliance with

  • Inspect all materials and equipment and ensure they are in accordance with spec
  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections to ensure compliance with specifications and customer expectations
  • Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Participate in First Article Inspections and recommend process improvements
  • Document inspection results, test data, and product disposition
  • Support internal audits, corrective/preventive actions
  • Perform quality evaluations — including surface finish, borescope inspections, and regulatory code compliance (ASME/BPE, 3A, PED, MOM)
  • Provide technical support to production teams regarding product quality
  • Obtain VTII Certification-training provided
Tools & Technology
  • Inspection tools: Calipers, Pin Gauges, Scales, Height Gage, Profilometers including calibration and maintenance of quality tools
  • Digital tools: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Dynamic AX ERP system, PDF software

What is Required?

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Two-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience (2+ years)
  • Use of proper PPE as safety is a top priority
  • Strong math, measurement, and blueprint reading skills
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to read technical procedures, work instructions, and regulatory documentation
  • Ability to work independently as well as cross functionally
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs. with frequent standing, walking, reaching and use of fine motor skills
  • Strong commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement

Schedule & Compensation

  • Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday thru Thursday-3:30 PM to 2:00 AM (Fri,Sat,Sun Off)
  • Training: Up to 6-month onboarding period on 1st Shift (Four 10-hour days)
  • Hourly Rate: $18-$22, commensurate with experience and qualifications
  • Shift Differential Pay: $0.50 per hour for 2nd shift
  • Incentives: Eligible for gain sharing
  • Additional Hours: Overtime and/or weekend coverage as needed
