Job summary

Keurig Dr Pepper in Irving, TX is seeking a Quality Technician I for a 3rd shift (Sun–Thu, 9:00pm–5:30am). You will conduct organoleptic and analytical tests to ensure product standards, submit samples for microbiological testing, and approve batches for packaging, placing non-conforming products on hold for further analysis.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of related QC experience in manufacturing.

Quality Technician I - Irving, TX

Shift & Schedule

Shift & Schedule: This is a full time position on 3rd shift Sunday - Thursday 9:00pm - 5:30a. Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, and holidays is required as scheduled.

Position Responsibilities

• Conduct organoleptic and analytical tests at various stages of compounding and packaging to ensure compliance with standards. May include the use of pH meters, HPLC, Malvern Mastersizer, and other instrumentation.
• Submit samples for microbiological testing, maintains test results, and calculates batch adjustments for certain products.
• Approve batches for packaging and conforming finished product for shipment and places non-conforming product on hold for further analysis.
• Make corresponding inventory movements in SAP.
• File and maintain retained samples.
• Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
• Prepare reagents and solutions for use in testing. Observes conditions and practices in compounding, packaging, and finished goods storage areas, making recommendations for improvement.

Total Rewards

• Pay starting at $24.76 per hour with up to $1.00 shift differential. The employee will move to a higher rate of $26.12 per hour in the quarter after their 6 month anniversary.

Requirements
