Job summary

Premier Systems is hiring a Quality Technician for 1st shift. The role is fully onsite and part-time with flexible 7am–11am, 8am–12pm or 9am–1pm hours and a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

The incumbent will support QA activities to prevent nonconforming products from being produced or shipped, provide inspection support, and help implement process improvements to elevate product quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• 0-3 years of work experience in quality or inspection is acceptable.
• Onsite, part-time role with flexible morning hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform audits and inspections on product quality per QA processes.
• Support nonconforming material investigations and report results.
• Collaborate with management to address new or complex issues.
• Assist with implementing new product quality plans.
• Understand technical requirements and follow established frameworks.

Summary

The Quality Technician I is responsible for supporting the business with QA activities to ensure nonconforming products are not produced and shipped to customers. A critical function to provide inspection support as well as process improvements to sustain and improve product quality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Works with team to provide audits and inspections on product quality according to the Client's quality-assurance processes
• Assist with conducting nonconforming materials investigation and report to the Client's authorized vendors as appropriate
• Engages management and team members as required for assistance in addressing new or complex issues
• Works with team to support new product quality plan implementations
• Ability to understand technical requirements, delivering output following learned technical framework

Job Requirements

• Preferred Education: High School or equivalent
• Preferred Work Experience (years):0-3 years
