Ball Corporation’s Golden plant is seeking a Quality Technician to inspect in-process and finished products against internal specifications, supporting production with timely feedback and clear communication.

The role operates in a high-volume, 24/7 environment; you will use calipers and gauges, maintain 5S, and collaborate across teams to drive quality and efficiency.

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one year of experience in a production/manufacturing role.
• Experience maintaining production or quality control equipment.
• Proficiency with computer applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong attention to detail and experience reviewing and understanding graphs and trends.
• Must be able to match colors.

Responsabilidades

• Follow all job safety practices and policies including foodsafety; PPE; emergency procedures, etc.
• Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment as needed.
• Routinely use measuring tools (calipers, micrometres).
• Advise production when inspection results do not meet customer specifications.
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace according to 5S standards.
• Build positive relationships across designated team by collaborating, communicating, and upholding integrity.

PositionOverview:

AsaQuality Technician,you will be amember of theQuality AssuranceTeam, reporting toa QualitySupervisor(or Manager—depending on plant).Youwillcontribute to the success of Ball byinspectingin-process or finished products for quality;based onBall internalspecifications andwilladviseproduction on results.

The Golden plant is high-volume, fast-paced 24/7-365 days/year manufacturing environment. Our crews work 4 on 4 off, rotating days to nights every 32 days.

KeyResponsibilitiesInclude:

Follow all job safety practices and policies including but not limitedto:foodsafety; personalprotective equipment;emergency procedures, etc.

Performtroubleshooting and preventative maintenance on inspection equipment, as needed.

RequiredExperience andSkills:

High School Diploma or education equivalentrequired.

Minimum one (1)year of experience in a production/manufacturing role.

Experiencemaintainingproduction or quality control equipment.

Proficiencywith computer applications (such as: Microsoft: Excel, Word, Outlook)

Strong attention to detail andexperience reviewing and understanding graphs and trends.

Must be able to matchcolors.

Demonstrated ability toprovideclear and concise communication (verbal and written) in arespectfulmanner to all levels of personnel.

PreferredExperience andSkills:

1+ years ofexperience as aQuality Technician in a manufacturing environment.

Experience working with depth gauges, dial callipers, and/or automated gauges.

PhysicalEnvironment & Working Conditions:

May be subject toall of the following, but not limited to:

Hot/Cold working conditions.

Standing and walking for prolonged periods of time.

Climbing (stairs, and other equipment as necessary).

• Expected Hiring Salary Range:$32.40/hr
• This role will be eligible to participate in the annual incentive compensation plan.
