Job summary

Closure Systems International, Inc. in Erie, PA is seeking a Quality Technician to program and operate a CMM, inspect products for quality, and generate detailed reports using Excel and PowerPoint.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be proficient in Excel/Word/PowerPoint, and understand blueprints and SPC. Ability to follow instructions, read drawings, and support calibration and document-control systems is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Read, write and speak English.
• Certified Quality Technician or equivalent experience.
• Must read/understand basic math, blueprints, and SPC.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and email.

Responsibilities

• Generate, prepare and issue reports using MS Excel and PowerPoint.
• Program and operate a CMM.
• Inspect Erie products for quality, appearance and finish.
• Follow work instructions and drawings.
• Maintain calibration, document control, and quality plans.
• Perform incoming inspections and coordinate with suppliers.
• Back up inspector positions as required (shift work).

# Quality TechnicianErie Plant - Erie, PA 16502## Description**Duties and Responsibilities:**1. Generate, prepare and issue reports using proper form and summarization in MS Excel and Power Pointa. Purposeb. Datec. Analysisd. Conclusion2. Program and operate a CMM3. Inspect all Erie products for quality, appearance and finish4. Be able to follow and understand work instructions5. Be able to follow and understand drawings and prints6. Legibly complete and maintain records as instructed or per quality documentation7. Recommend ways to improve quality, workmanship, methods of production, etc.8. Configure and use Infinity computer files as needed9. Back up all inspector positions as required (may require shift work)10. Follow work instructions to complete special metrology requests.11. Use statistical methods as required12. Perform incoming inspections and work with outside suppliers for purchased items as required13. Follow work instructions to maintain and update calibration system, document control system, quality control plans and internal audit system as required14. Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping15. Be safety conscious at all times16.
