Roles and Responsibilities

Ownership of quality assurance and control for assigned supply chain, customer and products/process areas:

  • Problem resolution, assist in investigations and resolve quality issues related to supplier materials and components. Collaborate with suppliers to identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation related to supplier quality root cause and corrective actions.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives in the customer/supplier quality team. Implement lean manufacturing principles and best practices in supplier processes.
  • Collaboration with both external & internal teams, including procurement, engineering, and production, to ensure supplier quality aligns with company requirements. Facilitate communication and collaboration between suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  • Acts as a resource for customer/supplier quality team for activities including but not limited to First Article Inspection Reviews, PO Standard Remarks, Receiving Inspection Problem Resolution, Partial Releases, and Return Material Authorizations.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or High school Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution.

  • Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
