Amcor is hiring for a production quality inspector on the manufacturing floor in the United States. The role focuses on ensuring product quality, performing inspections, and supporting continuous improvement within the packaging production process.

The position requires strong safety discipline, basic computer skills, and ability to read work instructions. You will work with QA staff to maintain quality standards and help train operators on quality checks.

• Basic computer skills in word processing and spreadsheets.

Aufgaben

• Actively puts safety first in all responsibilities, promoting Amcor’s safety culture.
• Performs in-process and final quality inspections on assigned lines, verifying product conformance to customer specifications and quality standards.
• Conducts testing using established methods and equipment, including gauge/thickness measurement, seal integrity, print registration, and contamination checks.
• Documents inspection and test results accurately in quality systems and logs; flags non-conforming product and initiates hold procedures.
• Communicates quality issues and conditions that adversely affect quality or throughput to Production Supervisors and the QA Manager in real time.
• Supports root cause investigations and corrective actions for internal non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Calibrates and maintains quality inspection equipment according to established schedules.
• Reviews and verifies incoming raw material quality against specifications as needed.
• Supports internal audits and maintains documentation required for ISO 9001 compliance.
• Trains and provides guidance to production operators on basic quality checks and standards

Provides general labor support in the production of plastic film by assisting with machine operation, material handling, quality checks, and packaging. Ensures production runs efficiently by supporting the operator and maintaining proper workflow, organization, and safety standards. Essential Job Functions

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift
• Frequent lifting, carrying, and stacking of rolls and materials
• Repetitive bending, reaching, twisting, and movement
• Ability to push/pull and handle materials during production and packaging
• Ability to climb stairs and move between work areas
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in a manufacturing environment

Minimum Requirements

• Strong understanding of production process an dhow to correct quality issues on line
