Sub-Zero Group, Inc. invites you to join our Cedar Rapids facility as a Quality Technician, helping lead the setup, launch, and ongoing support of our new refrigeration fabrication and assembly lines.

Reporting into the Quality Department, you’ll audit processes, participate in fabrication, assembly, incoming and finished goods inspection, and assist with equipment trials and capability studies during start-up.

Responsabilidades

This role is a unique opportunity to help lead the setup, launch, and support of our new refrigeration fabrication and assembly lines.

Start-Up Responsibilities & Ongoing Production Responsibilities

Reporting into the Quality Department, the Quality Technician is responsible for auditing the internal processes, component and product quality throughout the manufacturing workstream.

There will be Quality Technician responsibilities in Fabrication, Assembly, Incoming Inspection, and Finished Good Inspection. As part of the plant start-up, this role will also support new equipment and process capability studies.

The successful individual will also participate in continuous product and process improvements to exceed the expectations of those we service by providing high quality, innovative, value added, luxury appliance products and services.

Quality System Responsibilities

• Participate in Control Plan system development and execution
• Develop, deploy and perform audits while maintaining the audit database
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and tiered work systems
• Review and update the quality system requirements for new or revised products, including review and measurement of key control characteristics (KCC) identification and documentation.
• Work closely with engineering to support Factory Acceptance Testing, and trial builds of product throughout the system, gathering feedback for evaluation and analysis.
