Job summary

Motus Integrated Technologies is seeking a Quality Technician to support the production team with quality concerns and related tasks. The role focuses on audits, containment, training, and improvements to ensure product quality.

The candidate will perform VDA 6.5 audits, support in root cause analysis, and lead containment activities while adhering to 5S standards. A strong focus on teamwork and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Computer experience with Word, Excel and SharePoint.
• Reading and interpretation of drawings.
• Reading and interpretation of Control Plans/FMEAs.
• Experience with part measurement and measurement devices.
• Comfortable providing feedback and training.

Responsibilities

• Complete VDA 6.5 based product audits.

We have an exciting opportunity for a problem solver, a change agent who is excited about quality and developing their skillset in a meaningful way. The Quality Technician will be responsible for supporting the production team with quality concerns and additional items as listed.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Complete VDA 6.5 based product audits.
• Complete Mistake Proof Audits, First Piece Inspection, Layered Process Audits and other audits as required.
• Support in root cause analysis.
• Lead containment activities.
• Train team members to defects and new quality alerts.
• Incoming inspection as required.
• Supplier Quality dispositions, reporting, and management.
• Assist with the calibration system; monitoring and maintenance.
• Training/Development in Quality Engineering practices/processes.
• Adhere to 5S standards for all work areas.
• Disposition non-conforming headliners
• Other tasks as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Computer experience, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and SharePoint.

• Experience and/or knowledge of part measurement and measurement devices.
