Job summary

Orotex Corporation in Novi, MI is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to test, inspect, and report on materials and finished products to ensure compliance with customer and internal standards. This full-time role sits in a temperature-controlled manufacturing facility.

You will use calipers, rulers and basic lab tools to verify dimensions, perform visual and functional checks, and document findings in the quality tracking system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of experience with hand held measuring devices (calipers, rulers, gauges).
• Basic math skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to understand spoken and written English.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform random sample testing on all manufactured products.
• Ensure products meet specifications and requirements.
• Use calipers, rulers, scales, and other quality lab tools for measurements.
• Perform visual inspections and tests (pull tests, pressure tests).
• Input data findings into the quality tracking system.
