Job summary

Techniplas, LLC is seeking a quality inspector for its Dalton, GA production area. You will inspect automotive parts, determine acceptance or rejection, and document results. The role requires using precision measuring devices and maintaining calibration records.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma and at least 1 year of automotive inspection experience, with strong analytical and communication skills. Expect a Monday–Friday schedule with standing/walking duties and use of PPE.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year automotive parts inspection and auditing experience required.
• Demonstrated analytical capability.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good oral and written communication in English.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience with color hue/sorting testing and use of measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Distinguish product colors, identify defects, and determine disposition.
• Work with minimal supervision and decide acceptability of parts.
• Assist in resolving problems and responding to customer/supplier needs.
• Conduct gauge, dimensional, and process capability studies using measuring devices (optical comparator, CMM, etc.).
• Create, maintain, and update procedures for each part number.
