Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; chemistry background preferred
• 1-3 years quality control experience preferred
• Sample testing experience is a plus
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to use gauges, calipers, rulers and tape measures
• Blueprint skills are a plus
• Able to stand 8+ hours and lift up to 50 pounds
• Able to multi-task

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections and qualify control tests to ensure quality and specifications
• Follow OHSE and quality systems to maintain a safe workplace
• Inspect and test incoming raw materials
• Inspect finished products for customer specifications
• Maintain records of tests, results and observations
• Notify production staff of deviations and mark deviants
• Assist with set-up and clean-up of presses when machines are down
• Help site meet quality objectives
• Use Quality Data Results, Inventory, Documentation, Audits, Training systems
• Other duties as assigned
