You will conduct inspections, verify conformance to specifications, and support quality control processes across manufacturing. Responsibilities include dimensional measurements with micrometers and calipers, reviewing materials, documenting results, and participating in root cause analysis. Reading engineering drawings and applying ISO 9001/Six Sigma concepts is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and SPC.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• PPAPs and FAIs knowledge or experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual inspections of finished products to verify conformity to specifications and quality standards.

• Monitor production processes for compliance with quality control procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to complete PPAPs and FAIs upon hire
• Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive, medical, or electronics industry.
• Strong knowledge of quality management principles, practices, and tools such as ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities accurately.
• Solid problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex issues to determine root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate and interact with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with quality assurance software and systems is a plus.
• Willingness to undergo training and pursue professional development opportunities in quality assurance and related fields.
