Job summary

Hyundai MOBIS North America Electrified Powertrain, LLC is seeking a QC Team Member to perform quality control inspections and testing across production stages. The role emphasizes defect investigation, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining calibrated QC equipment, while upholding 5S and safety standards.

Under general supervision, you will document results in the QMS, support root-cause analysis, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to protect production quality and delivery

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, high paced, or quality environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor, inspect, and report on product quality, including workmanship, labeling accuracy, material allocation, and staging of components.
  • Perform QC inspections and testing at various production stages, including minor repairs.
  • Support investigation and analysis of quality issues and assist in development and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Maintain adherence to quality standards and 5S practices within the QC area.
  • Accurately document and input inspection and test results into the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Review analysis findings with supervisors and prepare reports as required.
  • Ensure QC tools and equipment are properly maintained, calibrated, and functioning as required.
  • Participate in required training and support training of other QC personnel as needed.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies related to safety, quality, housekeeping, and operational performance.
  • Support flexible operations, including overtime (as needed) and rotation across roles or shifts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
