Job summary

Verst Logistics in Hebron, KY is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support operations, promote safety, and drive accuracy in daily tasks with supervision. The role requires lifting up to 40 lbs, flexibility for overtime, and strong teamwork.

You will train associates on processes, coordinate shift activities, conduct cycle counts, and ensure SOPs are followed to meet customer requirements. Excellent communication, reliability, and the ability to follow directions precisely are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Experience training or mentoring associates is a plus.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and basic SOPs.
• Ability to follow instructions and work with precision.

Responsibilities

• Fulfills the duties and responsibilities of a Warehouse Associate as needed.
• Assist the Supervisor and other internal groups to meet and exceed customer requirements.
• Train associates on processes and providing feedback on process/performance.
• Assure the safety and security of associates and inventory.
• Coordinate with other departments on processes and procedures
• Monitor associate production standards and partner with Supervisor to ensure standards are met and SOPs are followed.
• Assist in monitoring indirect labor.
• Assist planning and coordinate shift activities to ensure adherence to all procedures and documentation set forth.
• Assists in planning, prioritizing, and communicating shift directives to ensure efficient and accuracy for related activities.
• Provides leadership and sets a positive example for other associates through productivity, quality, sanitation, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Continuously trains and develops associates on standard operation procedures (SOP) and job safety analysis (JSA).
• Serves as a primary point of reference for Associates regarding operational or procedural questions to Verst and temporary labor personnel as required to ensure the efficient, accurate and timely completion of projects.
• Works closely with supervisor on staffing needs and overtime requirements, and assists in scheduling, delegating and prioritizing workflow.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and reinforces sanitation and safety policies with warehouse associates.
• Completes forms and prepares reports as required.
• Conduct pre-shift and safety meetings
• Complete Safety observations
• Conduct Cycle counts and customer inventories
