Job summary

DSV - Global Transport and Logistics in Port Reading, NJ is seeking a Team Lead, Quality to coordinate safety and quality functions within the warehouse, ensuring compliance with policies and OSHA/MSDS standards. You will support audits, maintain documentation, and drive corrective actions.

Working with the Supervisor, you will develop improvements in performance, manage documentation, conduct plant tours, and participate in continuous improvement projects while ensuring timely communications

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to handle basic statistical control methods.
• Must have previous Inventory experience.
• Current or previous experience with Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the Document Control Center and records of the Quality System.
• Support internal audits and corrective actions from audits.
• Update quality procedures and client documentation.
• Generate and update control charts and Quality QOS.
• Review controlled documentation against QIS.
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects.
• Assist Supervisor to improve employee performance and service.
• Perform plant tours to identify non-compliance.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
• Ensure weekly triggers are sent to suppliers.
• Coordinate cycle counts for Sync Report Analysis.
