Job summary

Gallo Glass in Modesto, CA is seeking a Quality Team Lead to guide the quality team, ensure product safety, and drive continuous improvement at our 24/7 facility. You will coordinate with the Sr. Quality Manager, oversee problem solving, and ensure adherence to FSMS and QMS standards.

The role requires a BS with QA experience or equivalent, ISO/HACCP certifications, and strong leadership and auditing skills. On-site work with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• BS degree plus 2 years of QA/quality control or related experience or 6 years with HS/equivalency.
• Certification in food safety standards such as ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, or equivalent.
• Experience auditing Food Safety or Quality Systems.
• Demonstrated team building, leadership and mentoring skills.
• Experience defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality team and coordinate with Sr. Quality Manager at a 24-hour facility.
• Develop and update systems to improve product safety and conformity.
• Manage document control and record management system.
• Train operators on calibration, method of use, and interpretation of results.
• Develop standards to meet all quality specs and suggest procedural changes.
• Investigate quality issues and propose resolutions.
