Job summary

Gallo Glass Company, a 24-hour on-site glass plant, seeks a Quality Team Lead to head the quality team, drive product safety, and ensure conformity with FSMS standards. You will guide cross-functional problem solving, develop training programs, and supervise day-to-day quality operations at our Modesto facility.

The role emphasizes HACCP/FSMS compliance, root cause analysis, and continual improvement in food-grade and beverage packaging contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree plus 2 years in QA/manufacturing or 6 years with HS diploma.
• Certification in food safety standards such as ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, HACCP, or equivalent.
• ASQ CQE/CQA certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Leads quality team and ensures quality performance, cost parameters, and effective communication at a 24-hour facility.
• Develops and updates systems to improve product safety and conformity.
• Trains operators on calibration, method use, and interpretation of results of measurement equipment.
• Ensures compliance with FSMS and quality standards; supports root cause analysis and problem solving.
