Job summary

Kansas Ag Connection is seeking a Quality Systems Specialist to support product quality, shelf life, and reformulation initiatives through analytical testing, data analysis, and cross‑functional collaboration. You will partner with QFS, R&D, and Baking Technology teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize formulations, and ensure scalable, compliant solutions across products.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
• Experience with analytical testing and food microbiology.
• Knowledge of bakery systems and shelf-life control.
• Experience with Excel, Minitab; DOE preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct testing on finished products and ingredients for quality and shelf life.
• Perform microbiological analysis (yeast and mold) and trend data.
• Support formulation development, scale-up, and reformulation validation.
• Analyze data to identify trends and run DOE studies.
• Collaborate with QFS, Operations, R&D to resolve issues.
• Travel up to 60% for trials and validations.
