Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC seeks a construction surveillance specialist to monitor projects, review plans, and advise government personnel on necessary changes. The role requires advising on changes, developing inspection criteria, and delivering change order drafts for COR approval.

Responsibilities include producing phase reports, ensuring compliance with workmanship and materials, and communicating recommendations to government personnel and COR.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of NFPA 99, NFPA 101, NFPA 70 and IPC as applicable to building systems.
• Experience reviewing construction plans and specs for workmanship, materials, installation and methods.
• Ability to propose changes to government personnel based on contract requirements.
• Experience providing surveillance at construction sites and assisting COR with differences.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Perform Surveillance of construction projects and delivering findings to USACE-COR.
• Deliver surveillance reports on all phases of construction for compliance with plans and specifications in respect to workmanship, materials, installation and construction methods to government personnel.
• Become familiar with contract plans and specifications related to all phases of construction and deliver recommendations of any necessary changes to government personnel.
• Provide surveillance at construction sites, assist COR to resolve apparent differences and deliver opinion to government personnel, survey quality assurance programs related to projects, discuss changed conditions, and deliver advice to government personnel.
• Deliver assistance to the Government relative to investigating the need for and preparing data for change orders Develop detailed inspection requirements and control methods in coordination with Government personnel.
• Deliver drafts change orders and modifications for the COR's signature.

Experience Need :

• At least six (6) years of experience meeting the position description and demonstrate experience with at least one of the listed specialized skills or code under the position description.

• Environmental HAZWOPER, Site Sampling (40 hours HTRW Course and current 8-hour refresher).
