Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Quality Systems Manager to drive the implementation and maintenance of ISO and ASME quality systems, procedures, and records across TEi operations.

You will manage NCR, CAR, and internal audits, verify corrective actions, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce COPQ and improve profitability. The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5–10 years in manufacturing, and knowledge of ASME, ISO 9001, and NQA-1.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5–10 years of experience in a manufacturing or design-for-manufacture environment.
  • Experience in power generation, petrochemical, or chemical equipment manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001 auditing, with Auditor/Lead Auditor experience.
  • Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, ASME Section III, 10CFR50 Appendix B, and NQA-1 quality requirements is a plus.
  • Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and non-destructive examination (NDE) of pressure vessels or structural steel is preferred.

  • Improve processes across operations, supply chain, and subcontract manufacturing.
  • Promote and manage organizational change to increase profitability and business growth.
  • Use Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA, and statistical analysis to sustain improvements.
  • Establish systems to track, measure, and sustain process improvements.
  • Focus on improving quality, efficiency, productivity, and overall business profitability.

Job description

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Systems Manager to join our dedicated team. The Quality Systems Manager is responsible to ensure the successful implementation of all quality related TEi, Babcock Power, ISO and ASME systems and procedures, work instructions and forms generating records. Through management of the NCR, CAR and Internal Audit processes, the QSM is responsible for verification of actions taken to address continuous improvement activities, from root cause determination to implementation of corrective or improvement actions through effectiveness validation auditing. The incumbent holds a critical role in driving down the cost of poor quality (COPQ) thereby increasing profitability throughout the organization.

Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 annually DOE
