Job summary

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Quality Systems Manager to implement ISO/ASME quality programs and manage NCR, CAR and internal audits. You will drive continuous improvement and verify corrective actions to reduce COPQ and improve profitability.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree, 5–10 years in manufacturing/design-for-manufacture, and ISO 9001 auditing experience; ASME familiarity is a plus. Strong analytics and training skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5–10 years of experience in manufacturing or design-for-manufacture.
• Experience with quality management systems and ISO 9001 auditing; Auditor/Lead Auditor preferred.
• Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, ASME Section III, 10CFR50 Appendix B, and NQA-1 quality requirements is a plus.
• Knowledge of welding, fabrication, and non-destructive examination (NDE) of pressure vessels or structural steel is preferred.

• Develop and deliver internal auditor and process improvement training.

• Improve processes across operations, supply chain, and subcontract manufacturing.
• Promote and manage organizational change to increase profitability and business growth.
• Use continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, DMAIC, PDCA, and statistical analysis.
• Establish systems to track, measure, and sustain process improvements.
• Focus on improving quality, efficiency, productivity, and overall business profitability.

Thermal Engineering International (USA) Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Systems Manager to join our dedicated team. The Quality Systems Manager is responsible to ensure the successful implementation of all quality related TEi, Babcock Power, ISO and ASME systems and procedures, work instructions and forms generating records. Through management of the NCR, CAR and Internal Audit processes, the QSM is responsible for verification of actions taken to address continuous improvement activities, from root cause determination to implementation of corrective or improvement actions through effectiveness validation auditing. The incumbent holds a critical role in driving down the cost of poor quality (COPQ) thereby increasing profitability throughout the organization.

• Experience in power generation, petrochemical, or chemical equipment manufacturing preferred.
• Knowledge of quality management systems and ISO 9001 auditing, with Auditor/Lead Auditor experience.
• Familiarity with ASME Section VIII, ASME Section III, 10CFR50 Appendix B, and NQA-1 quality requirements is a plus.

Compensation: $110,000 - $120,000 annually DOE
