Job summary

Momentous is a dynamic, fast-growing human performance company headquartered in Park City, Utah. We are seeking a Quality Systems Manager to build and continuously improve a scalable QMS for a dietary supplement business.

This hands-on role centers on turning ambiguous requirements into practical workflows, partnering across departments to embed quality into everyday operations and support audits, supplier oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Science, Engineering, Operations, or related field.
  • 7–10 years of progressive experience in Quality, Quality Systems, Compliance, or regulated operations.
  • Experience with SOPs, investigations, CAPA, risk management, supplier quality, audits, training, and document control.
  • Experience with outsourced manufacturing and supplier quality oversight.

Responsibilities

  • Own core QMS processes including complaints, investigations, CAPA, risk management, document control, training, supplier oversight, and quality metrics.
  • Develop and improve SOPs, workflows, forms, and tools as the organization grows.
  • Support qualification, performance monitoring, quality agreements, audits, and escalation for contract manufacturers and labs.
  • Lead or support investigations, deviations, OOS/OOT events, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness checks.
  • Collaborate with Product, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Operations, and external partners to clarify roles and improve information flow.
  • Maintain trackers and dashboards, identify trends, risks, and support management review and inspection readiness.

Momentous is seeking a Quality Systems Manager to help build, implement, and continuously improve a scalable Quality Management System for a fast-growing dietary supplement company. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating structure from ambiguity, translating requirements into practical workflows, and partnering across the business to make quality part of everyday operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own core QMS processes, including complaints and investigations, CAPA, risk management, document control, training, supplier oversight, and quality metrics.
  • Develop and improve practical SOPs, workflows, forms, and tools as the organization grows.
  • Support qualification, performance monitoring, quality agreements, audits, and escalation for contract manufacturers, laboratories, suppliers, packaging partners, and distribution providers.
  • Lead or support complaint investigations, deviations, OOS/OOT events, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness checks.
  • Partner with Product, Supply Chain, Customer Success, Regulatory, Operations, and external partners to clarify roles and improve information flow.
  • Maintain trackers and dashboards, identify trends and risks, and support management review and inspection readiness.
  • Help implement and optimize eQMS, workflow automation, and data tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quality, Science, Engineering, Operations, or a related field; equivalent experience considered.
  • Approximately 7–10 years of progressive experience in Quality, Quality Systems, Compliance, or regulated operations.
  • Working knowledge of dietary supplement, food, pharmaceutical, medical device, or a similarly regulated quality system; dietary supplement experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with SOPs, investigations, CAPA, risk management, supplier quality, audits, training, and document control.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently own projects from concept through implementation.
  • Strong written communication, project management, and data organization skills.
