Job summary

Powell is seeking a QA Coordinator to support the Quality Team in implementing and auditing the quality management system. You will manage the QA System on Powell’s internal site, ensure updated documentation, and coordinate QA policy/procedure development and review.

You will plan internal audits, consolidate audit results, and liaise with ISO certification bodies. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential to drive continuous improvement across departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma required; BA/BS considered an asset.
• 5 years direct QA admin experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio.
• ISO QA systems auditor qualification preferred; familiar with ISO9001:2015.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Quality Team in implementing, training, process improvement, and auditing of the quality management system.
• Manage QA System platform and ensure documentation is up-to-date and properly assigned.
• Coordinate development/review of QA work instructions, policies, processes, and procedures.
• Plan, schedule, and complete Internal Audits; consolidate results and write final reports.
• Coordinate ISO Certification Audits with a third-party certification company.
• Support QC/QA metrics development and perform analysis for continuous improvement.
• Utilize NCR system to assign and close non-conformances monthly.
