Job summary

InSight Manufacturing Services is seeking a meticulous Quality Systems Coordinator to support the day-to-day coordination and administration of our Quality Management System. • Excellent attention to detail and recordkeeping are essential for maintaining quality documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally are required.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and follow through on open items in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Nonconforming Material (NCMR) activities including MRBs, RMAs, QNs, and DMRs.
• Manage customer and supplier RMAs from initiation through final disposition.
• Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding nonconforming material and quality documentation.
• Coordinate MRB meetings and maintain disposition records.
• Create and process rework shop orders within the ERP system.
• Coordinate and track internal 8D corrective actions and follow up on outstanding items.
• Maintain quality records, production travelers, inspection records, and other documentation.
• Support Quality System document control and organize records.
• Gather and organize data for quality metrics and KPIs (scrap, scorecards, corrective actions).
• Assist with audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and other Quality System projects.

InSight Manufacturing Services is seeking an organized and detail-orientedQuality Systems Coordinator to join our Quality team. This position plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day coordination and administration of our Quality Management System and ensuring quality-related activities are properly documented, tracked, and completed.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple priorities, and able to communicate professionally with customers, suppliers, management, and internal departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate Nonconforming Material (NCMR) activities, including MRBs, RMAs, Quality Notifications (QNs), and Discrepant Material Reports (DMRs)
• Manage customer and supplier RMAs from initiation through final disposition
• Communicate with customers and suppliers regarding nonconforming material, returns, dispositions, and quality documentation
• Coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) meetings and maintain accurate disposition records
• Create and process rework shop orders within the ERP system
• Coordinate and track internal 8D corrective actions and follow up on outstanding items
• Maintain quality records, production travelers, inspection records, and other required documentation
• Support Quality System document control, including updating, routing, organizing, and filing records
• Gather and organize information used for quality metrics and KPIs, including scrap, customer scorecards, and corrective actions
• Complete customer-requested quality and compliance documentation
• Assist with audits, continuous improvement initiatives, and other Quality System projects
• Provide backup support to the Quality Manager as needed

Preferred Training or Experience

Experience or training in any of the following is preferred but not required:

• ISO 9001 / Internal Auditing
• 8D Corrective Actions
• Quality Management Systems (QMS)
• Document Control
• Manufacturing quality processes

This position is primarily office-based but will also involve time in manufacturing, inspection, receiving, and shipping areas. Employees must follow all applicable safety requirements and wear required PPE when entering designated production areas.

Occasional travel to other InSight Manufacturing Services facilities may be required.
